4700 SERIES mobile scaffold tower

4700 SERIES - THE BEST ALUMINIUM SCAFFOLDING MONEY CAN BUY

Durability
All frames and components in the 4700 SERIES are made from structural grade (6061-T6) aluminium tubing with 4.7mm wall thickness.  The frames and components are fully welded by hand  by our highly skilled welders (full 360° weld, not riveted or crimped), resulting in a harder and more resilient scaffold that will stand the test of time.  In fact, in some hire yards you will still find 4700 SERIES scaffolding in use, being over 30 years old!

Every 4700 SERIES scaffold and component is backed by a Lifetime Warranty against faulty workmanship¹.

Ease of use
The 4700 SERIES has a unique North/South and East/West frame configuration. All frames have uniform sizes (915mm high) and can be used anywhere within the scaffold, thus eliminating the need for designated base frames, guardrail or intermediate frames, making it easy to assemble, transport and store the scaffold when not in use - allowing you to focus on the project and less time ‘scaffolding’.

All frames are interchangeable, wether you use the 4700 SERIES as a mobile scaffold tower, a ladder access tower, in a stairwell or as perimeter (‘walk through’) scaffolding. We can supply you with special frames for special applications.

The 8” castors are equipped with a foot activated rocker brake. A large handle provides good grip to adjust the wheels easily if levelling the scaffold on uneven surfaces is required (200mm adjustment).

The 4700 SERIES can be used in stairwell, bridging, cantilever and perimeter scaffolding applications.

Safety
The scaffold trays provide a stable and sturdy work platform. The trays are standard fitted with a plywood decking. Optional grid-mesh decking can be fitted upon request. The trap-door-trays are fitted with a grid-mesh trap-door that can be locked to prevent unauthorised access.

External braces lock the frames in for greater stability and the internal diagonal braces prevent the scaffold tower from twisting.

The unique design handrails with inline couplers allow you to quickly and easily assemble the handrails.

The scaffold towers are standard equipped with a Gorilla ladder that can be secured at the top and bottom. The ladder is fitted with strong D-rungs, providing extra comfort for your feet.

Applications
Initially developed for the Hire Industry where it delivers a fantastic return on investment, the 4700 SERIES has become the scaffold of choice for professionals in all kinds of industries; Building, Painting, Plastering, Rendering, Roofing, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Air conditioning, Camera towers, Rigging, Events, Museums, Defence, Aeronautical, Navy, Marine, Petrochemical and many more. It even is used under water!
